Project Bee Happy

This project happened during the second round of pupils activities in San Lazzaro school in Sarzana, Italy. Students were from 6th grade, 11 of which 6 females and 5 males. The class includes a student with severe disabilities non-verbal and a student with mild autism. It was separated into two different stages. In the first one students:

• created 3D models using 3D pens

Main aim was to trace the outline of the given image (bee) to make their own model of a bee.

In the second stage, students used pasta, gun and hot glue to create a hexagonal hive cell to get to, after scanning.

Marinella school projects (3 little pigs story)

During this activity is reading every day the story of the 3 little pigs. Children had the idea of creating their own story-telling version of the 3 little pigs. We scanned the little pigs and a wolf and next week we will print them. We also decided to use drowning of the 3 houses made by the children and through lithophane to produce the stl files to print them. Every child took a part in the story telling, event those with speech disorder will be able to take part in the “show”
by moving the characters.

The total number of pupils of the class: 18 (including 2 students with support, a girl with non-verbal autism, a boy with high-functioning autism and ADHD).
