“3D Scanning Material Activity”
Since this school is a Special Vocational Education and Training the specific activity concerns the 3D scanning of material to support the school’s laboratories. More specifically, to support the tourism laboratory we 3D scanning a bowl in which our students can use in the tourism (kitchen) lab. They chose the object they wanted to scan as well as the filament they preferred. Then we saw in the Mesh Mixer the result of the 3D scan. The students were impressed with the result and felt a special satisfaction from participating in the 3D scanning process. They are looking forward to the required corrections being completed and the bowl being 3D printed.
