In Chios, Greece on the grounds of the University of the Aegean, the 1st Transnational working meeting of the Program with the acronym “3DDeSI” was successfully held from March 28 to 30, 2023. The coordinator of the project is the University of  the Aegean, while the project is financed by the European Erasmus+ Program, through the Hellenic State Scholarship Foundation.

The research team of “3DDeSI” is made up of the research staff of the Quantitative Methods Laboratory of the University of the Aegean, and teachers from the 2nd Primary School of Chios, the EEEEK of Chios, ISA13 Istituto Comprensivo Sarzana of Italy and Kirkkomännikönkoulu of Finland. 

The object of the 1st meeting was to record the problems, opportunities and challenges in general and special primary and secondary schools in Greece, Italy and Finland. At the same time, the partners disused and concluded to  an educational framework, which will encourage both students with disabilities and general school students to exchange learning experiences and cultivate basic digital skills through 3D printing technology.
